I, 13th Infantry, 8th Division prior to entry O.C.S., then 1st Battalion Headquarters, 381st Infantry, 96 Division, Camp Adair, Oregon, then Regiment headquarters, 273rd Infantry, 69th Division, Camp Shelby, Miss., then 69th Division Headquarters (overseas). Served in England, France, Belgium and Germany. Awards: American Defense, E.T.O. with 2 Campaign Stars; Bronze Star Medal with one cluster; New Milford in World War II
